The people cast their votes

Posted on Friday 1 January 2010

It was the question put to the Industry by Morris Site Machinery – is it a pressure washer or a power washer – and now the people have decided.

Pressure washer won the vote convincingly by a two-to-one majority so henceforth the company’s range of Hilta washers will be known as ‘pressure washers’.

Morris Site Machinery wanted to clear-up just what was the best description, so the company asked its customers.

Votes were canvassed at the Plantworx trade show, on social media and in face to face meetings with customers. To further encourage the electorate to make their cross, the ballot papers were entered into a prize draw.

It was a positive vote for Smiths Equipment Hire which won the prize, a petrol high performance 1500psi Hilta Pressure Washer.

Manufactured in the UK, Hilta’s range of pumps and washers have been cleaning up Britain for more than 40 years. The robust pumps and compact hot and cold industrial pressure washers are available in petrol, diesel or electric driven options.
