Are your warehouse steps certifed?

Posted on Friday 1 January 2010

GPC, along with its factory partner Fort Jason, can now offer UK manufactured warehouse steps, but more importantly ranges that have been externally certified to EN-131.

For many years GPC & Fort Jason have been the only UK manufacturer of warehouse steps that are accredited to the coveted European GS standard. This is still the case but following the introduction of changes to EN-131, GPC & Fort Jason have announced over 20 of its ranges are now certified to this standard as well.

Certification means the ranges are tested by an approved external testing house. Their stringent test criteria ensures that necessary product design for stability and manufacturing processes for product strength and durability are met. In fact testing is carried out with appropriate test loads and criterias which are well in excess of the rated loads. This gives the end user confidence in using their high quality products whilst working at height.

As well as being able to offer this certification on a large range of steel fabricated steps GPC & Fort Jason are so confident in the quality that they offer a three year guarantee.
