It’s curtains for welding

Weldability-SIF, has
announced the launch of a
new welding curtain and
frame supplied complete in a
lightweight box.

This EN 1598 certified 1.80m
x 1.80m adjustable welding
curtain and frame is designed
to provide
maximum
welding
protection and
uses the same
concept as
found in the
camping
industry, in that
the curtain
frame packs into
the smallest
footprint to avoid
courier shipping
surcharges, yet is
very easy to
assemble and
provides the
rigidity and
portability in use
necessary for any welding or
workshop environment.

It is available in either
amber or dark green CE
certified curtain protection
stretched rigidly within the
frame to provide the
necessary UV/IR protection
from the arc during MIG,
TIG or MMA welding, yet
still maintaining supervisory
visibility. An added feature is
its complete portability as
each frame
has free
wheeling
castors
and they
can also be
connected
together to
form a
cubicle,
enclosure or
a welding
bay. It
also has Kevlar stitched
curtain hems for longer life
Each curtain is supplied in
a 160cm long x 24cm wide x
7cm deep box weighing only
8kgs.
