In most cases, exhausted air from
pneumatic hand tools and control
units has simply been allowed to
escape to the atmosphere; a process
that creates considerable noise, can
generate significant quantities of
dust, and wastes energy as
compressed air has to be
continually produced.

Operated by Tom Parker,
Preston-based EARS UK offers the
‘Exhausted Air Recycling System’
(EARS); a new, air tool solution
that improves productivity, saves
energy, and substantially enhances
workplace health and safety.

Available as a complete
compressor system, or as a retrofit
option, the system provides a
closed loop between the air tool
and the air compressor.

Key benefits claimed are: Up to
80% improvement in compressor
efficiency and energy consumption
reduced by 40% year-on-year.
