Webbing strap assemblies

How do webbing strap assemblies fit into the health and safety environment?

Wayne Judd from Package Control UK says: "Apart from the obvious benefits of a securing strap holding goods in place, there are other visual benefits in the form of hi-vis webbing which has long been available, but now it can also have reflective yarn woven into the webbing to act as a night time or low light quick and easy visual safety check.

"For instance, to determine the security of racking holding items at height that can have a webbing strap on the uprights forming one long line of reflective hi-vis material prior to a ground level picking operation. Or used as a barrier in poorly lit areas to alert personnel to hazards."

Judd adds: "In fact webbing in general is used in countless scenarios and with the addition of webbing incorporating reflective yarn this can only be a good step forward in assisting with achieving even better results in health and safety, and the benefit of this is that the limitations of using webbing assemblies especially with reflective qualities is only limited by the imagination of the person specifying the requirement!”
