Fresh faces join Fernox team

Spencer Mogg will work as Area Sales Manager in the South East covering East Anglia, Essex and Hertfordshire whilst Neil Saunders has joined the company as Area Sales Manager for the South West, bringing with them an accumulative 34 years of experience within the heating industry.

Neil began his career as an apprentice pipe fitter and welder in 1988 and joined boiler manufacturer Alpha in 1998 as an engineer, before moving into sales. Neil joined Plumbing Trade Supplies (PTS) seven years ago, where he managed a team of 18 sales representatives before becoming Regional Director for the South West. Now, after 12 months as General Sales Manager with City Plumbing, Neil, who holds a City and Guilds qualification in pipefitting and welding, joins the Fernox sales team.

As Area Sales Manager for the South West, Neil will be tasked with expanding and maintaining the social housing, local authorities, and larger contractor sectors as well as being responsible for new build specification and support for the merchant networks.

“I’m hugely excited by my new role at Fernox. Through my engineering background, I knew Fernox as a trusted and quality brand but when you are actually shown around the office and meet the people, you begin to get a sense of the company’s rich history and working culture,” said Neil. “I am thoroughly enjoying it so far and can’t wait to rekindle relationships and create new networks”.

Also joining the team is Spencer Mogg, an Area Sales Manager covering East Anglia, Essex and Hertfordshire. Having held a variety of senior sales roles, he brings an impressive 17 years of experience within the heating sector and has a NVQ Level 3 in Heating and Ventilation. In his previous role as Regional Sales Manager at Vaillant Group, Spencer was responsible for the Essex and East London area, working with local authorities, developers and contractors.

Now, as Area Sales Manager for Fernox, Spencer will be working to drive sales and will work with key stakeholders to maintain and develop existing client relations in the region.

Speaking of his new appointment, Spencer said: “Having dealt with Fernox in previous roles, I was aware the company is a market leader in its sector, producing high quality, tried and tested  chemical water treatments and filtration devices. I look forward to working closely with customers and being a part of the culture of support and innovation that exists within Fernox.”
