Total Lockout (Safety) is
manufactured entirely from 316
stainless steel, making it highly

The safety hasp or ‘multihasp’
is a simple device that
enables multiple maintenance
personnel to work on a common
isolated circuit or device, safe in
the knowledge that power/energy
cannot be restored until they have
removed their personal padlock.

The device works by fitting it to
the isolating switch in the off
position, followed by a padlock.

The hasp usually has up to six
padlock holes, meaning that six
engineers can all fit their own
padlock in place while they
carry out maintenance work on
the same isolated device,
process or machine.

Energy cannot be restored
until the last engineer finishes
and removes his/her padlock.
