HSE announces senior management changes
The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has confirmed that Kevin Myers will become Acting Chief Executive following the departure of Geoffrey Podger on 31 August.
Gordon MacDonald (pictured), currently Director of Hazardous Installations, will become Acting Deputy Chief Executive as part of the changes.
The appointments are being made on an interim basis as HSE is currently the subject of a triennial review. Plans to recruit a new Chief Executive need to take account of the triennial review process.
