Communicare 247, formerly Argyll Lone Worker, offers a range of products which can track the movements of lone workers – and, because they are BS8484 certified, the company says they can guarantee a police response if an alarm is raised.
Among them is a discreet GPS tracker with an alarm trigger which pinpoints your lone worker’s exact location in the event of an emergency.
Communicare 247 also offers a smartphone app, which allows lone workers to ‘check-in’ with its secure, 24-hours-a-day response centre, whose specially trained staff will raise the alarm if the lone worker fails to check-out again within an agreed timeframe. This approach is finding favour with more and more organisations, due to its cost-effective nature and discretion.
