Alert to allergies

Safety Media has added a new elearning
course to its training library.

The Food Allergies Interactive Flash
course has been developed for use in
all food serving and
preparation establishments
including work and school
canteens and restaurants. It
has been produced to make
staff more aware of food
allergies and their effects.

During the 30min elearning
course, the trainee
will learn about the
precautions needed when working in
a food service environment. The
course looks at the types of allergens,
what to find out from the customer
and food preparation precautions.
