Apollo makes appointment
Apollo Fire Detectors, the independent fire detection manufacturer, has further strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Ed Browning as sales & marketing director EMEA.
Ed graduated in chemical engineering at the University of Birmingham, and also gained a Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Marketing in South Africa. He has extensive sales and marketing experience, gained over 25 years with companies which include Unilever, Black & Decker and the Coleman Outdoor Company.
Steve Brown, MD (EMEA) at Apollo, said: “Ed has a strong background in strategic marketing and business development and his expertise will help take us to the next level in areas such as brand management, product portfolio optimisation and new product development. Ed’s strategic thinking, execution focus, and his international mindset makes him a great addition to our leadership team.”
