Armacell awarded accreditation

Flexible thermal and acoustic
insulation producer Armacell has
become the latest construction
products manufacturer to achieve
the prestigious BuildingConfidence
accreditation. The accreditation
followed a rigorous audit process to
check that the company meets the
scheme’s requirements in a number
of key areas, including: product
integrity, health and
safety, environment and
sustainability plus ethics
and values.

The scheme is used by
many of the industry’s
leading contractors and
distributors as an
efficient way of assessing
suppliers and certifying
construction products. The
BuildingConfidence scheme sets a
high standard of accreditation and
provides a cost effective method for
participants to identify areas for
improvement in their management,
sustainability and corporate
governance systems.
