Portable lifting solution specialist,
Reid Lifting, has demonstrated its
ability to quickly deliver customised
solutions by taking just a few weeks
to provide Northern Ireland Water
with over 80 portable lifting jib
cranes.

Working in partnership with
BPF Distributors and Pumps,
REID was able to assess the
technical brief and ensure
that its industrystandardPORTA-
DAVIT 500
(PD-500) could be customised
to meet the required safety,
lifting and access
requirements.

Easy to transport and
stow, with rapid assembly,
the PD-500 was adapted for
Northern Ireland Water’s
‘Investment Programme’ to
facilitate a requirement for a
‘Personnel Restraint Anchor
Point’, with the manufacture and
supply of over 80 units (plus
electric hoists and waterproof
covers).
