Simon Ash has been appointed sales
and commercial director for UK &
Ireland at Safety Shoe, JAL Group’s
subsidiary based in the UK. Simon
has 20 years of professional footwear
experience in commercial, industrial
and product management roles,
having developed his career with
adidas, Mizuno Corporation and
Airwair International. The
appointment is connected to the
wider reorganization of JAL Group.

Daniele Ondeggia, Group CEO
since June 2012, said: “We are
convinced Simon is the right
manager to implement in the UK
market our plan of commercial reorganisation,
improving our focus
and increasing our brands’
penetration.”
