Celebrating 75 years
In honour of the 75th anniversary of the original nylon patent and the birth of nylon 6,6, INVISTA’s CORDURA brand team will celebrate its durable nylon heritage with the latest additions to the CORDURA fabric portfolio at A+A.
The CORDURA Lite Plus collection – 315d and 420d fabrics are lighter weight options for workwear reinforcement. These smooth, supple fabrics offer a greater than 12% improvement in tensile strength, up to 2X increased filament density and lower denier per filament compared to original Type 725 based CORDURA Lite fabrics.
The latest Solution-dyed CORDURA Classic fabrics offer impressive batch to batch colour uniformity compared with piece-dyed fabric, as well as excellent high temperature washfastness.
Further developments include the 280 gsm range of comfortable, durable CORDURA NYCO fabrics by Penfabric, Malaysia. CORDURA NYCO fabrics are at least three times more abrasion resistant than equivalent weight competitive polyester/cotton blend workwear fabrics.
