Cleaning HVACR systems

Aspen Pumps has launched Storm Chemicals, a range of products designed to clean and maintain heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVACR) equipment. The launch follows the company’s acquisition of UK tool specialist JAVAC, and French distributor Salina SAS.

Featuring Micro-Tech Deep Cleaning Technology, the Storm Chemicals range has been formulated to meet the needs of today’s challenging maintenance requirements. The technology provides microscopic cleaning deep into the surface, beyond the biofilm, resulting, says Aspen, in a longer lasting clean and an improved indoor environment.

“We are delighted to launch the Storm Chemicals range onto the market and to be able to add an innovative, effective and environmentally friendly deep cleaning solution to our offering” said Vern Klein, head of business development – Storm Chemicals at Aspen Pumps. “The products are easy to use and ideal for any regular maintenance program, resulting in fewer call backs and improved energy efficiency of equipment.”

The Storm range comprises: Evaporator cleaner & disinfectant; Condenser cleaner; Universal coil cleaner; Odour neutraliser; Coil coat; Leak detector; Condenser cleaner & degreaser; Case cleaner; Ice machine cleaner; Drain unblock; and Portable AC cleaner.

There are also products powered by Green XL,a probiotic cleaner developed for use in the HVACR sector. This technology uses ‘good’ bacteria to remove dirt and cleans beyond the microscopic layer (biofilm), ensuring a product remains clean in-between service intervals. As Green XL is 100% biodegradable, engineers don't have to worry about COSHH restrictions for transport, use and storage, since it is harmless to people, animals and environmentally friendly too. In addition, the ‘good’ bacteria help provide a healthier indoor environment with improved indoor air quality (IAQ) as they remove the ‘bad’ bacteria.
