Close encounter

Posted on Friday 1 January 2010

Security training firm Primarius is offering people in the North West the chance to gain a qualification in close protection security.

A course will be run out of Primarius’ new offices in Hamilton Street in Birkenhead for 19 days from 15 September to 4 October 2014.

Director Harry Glover said: “The programme will give the students the grounding and knowledge they will need to be successful security providers, and we pride ourselves on being able to offer that service. Women are most welcome on the course, as there is currently a big demand for female security personnel.”

Information on the modules available on the programme can be found at www.primarius.co/training/close-protection.

Upon completion of the course, students will be able to apply for a Security Industry Authority (SIA) licence, which will enable them to work as close protection officers in the UK.
