Dickies, the workwear brand, has joined forces with the R.A.F Rescue Unit, a motorsport rescue charity, by donating clothing essential for their work.

R.A.F Rescue was founded in 1982 and attend major UK motorsport events like the Pageant of Power and Goodwood Festival of Speed.

Licenced by the Motorsport Association of Great Britain, the unpaid crew are medical and fire worker volunteers. The unit carries a comprehensive amount of medical equipment, together with tools specifically designed to assist in removing a trapped driver from his vehicle. They were the second unit on site at the recent crash in the Jim Clark Rally in Scotland, where three people lost their lives.

Dickies have donated Dickies Grafter Duo Tone (GDT) 210 coveralls, trousers and jackets. The Grafter Trousers are a tough garment which incorporates high performance nylon based Cordura fabric, which is extremely resistant to tearing, scuffing and abrasion, providing top performance in all aspects of work.
