The cold protection cream from the
STOKO Skin Care product range
was given a prize for innovation by
the British Safety Industry
Federation in May.

“We are very proud of this prize,”
comments Johannes Sitzmann, head
of STOKO Skin Care, “as it
underlines the performance of our
research and development.”
The BSIF gives annual awards for
innovative products that make a
significant contribution to
preventing workplace accidents or
illness.

At the Health & Safety Expo in
Birmingham Phil Lockheed accepted
the award on behalf of all at STOKO
Skin Care.

And this year the winner of the
BSIF Product Innovation Award is
STOKO frost protect. Frost protect
protects skin from cold and ice, and
is used, for example, by railway
employees in Siberia. But Arctic
researchers have also been able to
successfully rely on the protective
effect of the cream during their work
at the Arctic Ocean, thanks to
a special anti-freeze effect even when
the temperature is below zero.
