Dropped object prevention

Posted on Friday 1 January 2010

Key-Bak Pro has announced the launch of two new Dropped Object Prevention online tools.

The first is a new Key-Bak website: www.dropsafetyequipment.com. The site will serve as an industry resource for learning about and deploying Dropped Object Prevention (DOP).

The second is Start Work Fundamentals, a five-part approach to work at height safety processes which can be downloaded from the new website.

Larger aims of the site are to educate people on the dangers of falling objects, make deployment of D.O.P. simple and easy to follow, keep stakeholders informed on new industry recommended practices, standards and regulation, bring all industries into the fold and help them speak the same language and provide a platform to share safety best practices.

The five fundamentals of the Start work programme are: Stop, Think, Attach, Report and Track.
