Energy boost

Limpet Technology demonstrated its
flagship height safety product, the
Limpet L5, to Scotland’s First Minister
Alex Salmond and a select group of
guests at the opening of Steel
Engineering’s new
G2 plant and
TRESTA
facility in
Renfrew.

The L5
fall
prevention, climb
assist and personnel hoisting system
is now being used by energy sector
leaders like Allianz and Siemens to
keep their wind turbine operations
and maintenance workers safer,
healthier and more productive.

Limpet Technology’s Stephen
Cornwallis said: “This will be a
critical area for Scotland’s renewables
sector and it was wonderful to be able
to show the First Minister and other
guests that we have a home- grown
manufacturer leading innovation in
this area.”
