Energy efficient LED

Posted on Friday 1 January 2010

The new MID-MAX LED from Luxonic is specifically designed to provide lighting solutions for open areas of medium height in warehousing, production, retail and leisure sectors.

Suitable for installation at up to 18 metres high the MID-MAX can be surface mounted or suspended to produce an even distribution of light for open areas that experience a wide variety of activities.

The MID-MAX luminaire combines high output LED’s with optional built in control sensors to create easily adjusted and environmentally friendly lighting while maintaining sufficient light levels for the occupants. Wireless versions using LUXLINK RC technology are available allowing flexibility with the design of the lighting scheme layout while a range of dimensions ensures the MID-MAX can cater for small and large areas alike.

New developments in glare control and microstructure film technology to enhance light distribution together with ultra high reflectance materials allows the LED’s to achieve optimum light levels using as little energy as possible.

Maximum energy efficiency is also achieved using sensors that detect occupancy levels and therefore allow the luminaires to be turned off after a period of inactivity, or if there is sufficient daylight to light the space.
