A Somerset-based PPE company has
received the first shipment of its new
high visibility clothing to
send out to customers.

Fhoss Technology received
5000 sets of PPE on 14th
July, which have been sold
to construction, highway
and rail companies.

Executive chairman
Andy Kimitri, says: “We
have orders from more
than 200 UK companies
and we are getting more requests
daily. Some of the first orders are
from Amey Colas Rail and vehicle
cleaning product supplier, AutoSmart.
We have also had many orders from
abroad, including Latin America and
Russia.”
Fhoss Technology’s light emitting
reflective tape combines traditional
reflective tape with an
electroluminescent core
that sits behind the semitransparent
tape and
actively emits light. When
light is not available the
tape produces light as if it
were reflecting it. It is
powered by a discreet,
mini rechargeable
powercell, which allows 12
hours of constant usage. The product
is certified to standard EN471.
