Focus on nutrition

The British Dietetic Association
(BDA) has launched Nutrition in the
Workplace Workshops designed to
support UK businesses in improving
employees’ health and wellbeing, and
improving employee absenteeism.

Workplace Workshops designed to
support UK businesses in improving
employees’ health and wellbeing, and
improving employee absenteeism.

The new service includes a
number of elements that can be
adapted to meet the needs of
individual companies.

Explaining the need for a focus on
health and nutrition in the
workplace, Spokesperson for the
BDA, Alison Clark says: “a fulltime
employee will spend around 60% of
their time in the workplace and eat
and drink at least a third of their
daily calorie allowance during this
