FSDF Health & Safety Awards

These awards are open to all members with the aim of recognising excellence in health and safety on an individual and company-wide level. 

The Full Member award for Outstanding Contribution to Health and Safety by a Company was won in 2014 by Martin Brower for their “Think Safety – Work Safely” campaign which promotes a positive approach to health and safety within the company and has significantly reduced the number of workplace accidents.

The Associate Member award went to Munters for their IceDry Solution, which removes airborne moisture, reducing ice build up and fogging which in turn reduces the number of slips and trips experienced by cold store workers.

The 2014 Best Individual Contribution to Health and Safety was awarded to Maurice Young for his dedication to raising the standards of health and safety within the industry and being instrumental in ensuring that FSDF is seen to lead the way.
