Going for gold

Posted on Friday 1 January 2010

Facilities management provider EMCOR will be presented with four RoSPA Gold Awards in the internationally recognised 2018 RoSPA Health & Safety Award event in London on 4th July.

Additionally, RoSPA will present a fifth Gold Award to EMCOR UK—the prestigious Gold Medal Award, in recognition of the company receiving seven Gold Awards in seven years for its health and safety practices.

The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Gold Awards recognise an organisation that has achieved a high level of performance, whilst demonstrating well developed occupational health and safety management systems and culture, outstanding control of risk, and low levels of error, harm and loss. EMCOR UK was specifically recognised for its work with clients DSTL, BAE North, United Utilities, and Thames Water Utilities  (Thames Water), as well as its overall achievements over the last seven years.

This industry acknowledgement closely follows EMCOR being awarded an International Safety Award from the British Safety Council in March 2018, in recognition of the dedication shown by the business in keeping its workers and workplaces healthy and safe during the 2017 calendar year.
