Available from the Door Worker
Company, the Thornton DoorWorker
was developed by Peter Thornton after
many years of experience
as a door installer and
helps overcome the risk
of injury while hanging
heavy doors.

With health and safety
legislation now requiring
two people or more to
install doors over 25kg
in weight, the patented DoorWorker
enables one person to safely hang
doors of all types and weights, resulting
in considerable labour savings.

The system is fully mobile and can
be used to move the door from the
loading area to the point of installation.

The door is mounted on soft rollers
and held by plastic clamps to ensure no
damage occurs to the door surfaces.

Once ready to be manoeuvred into
the frame, the door in the jig is
positioned vertically and wheeled into
the door opening. The unit offers full
adjustment vertically, longitudinally
and horizontally. Uneven or sloping
floors are catered for by outrigger
wheels that are adjustable in height.
