In-ear heartrate monitor

Posted on Friday 1 January 2010

During the trade show Expoprotection in Paris a new topic of discussion was raised. Should the PPE sector pay more attention to the solutions provided by the Internet-Of-Things?

“Yes, we should!," Safety Workwear Shop says, "And we can start with monitoring and analysing the most vital body signals, the body temperature and heartrate of workers.”

Designed to measure and communicate body temperature in the most accurate way possible, the cosinuss° One wearable is suitable for industry and construction workers as well as workers in extremely cold or in extremely hot conditions who want to monitor their health.

The in-ear heartrate monitor measures the heartrate, HRV and temperature in the ear where measurement conditions are ideal as the ear channel is dark, and the head area around our ears moves less than for instance on our hand and on our chest.

cosinuss° One has been described as super compact and lightweight – it only weighs 6.5 gram and is 4 cm small. It can be connected to most smartphones, smartwatches, bike computers, fitness trackers, desktop computers and tablets.
