Inner doors enhance operator safety
Eldon’s new ADI/ADIS series of inner doors for wall mounted enclosures has been redesigned to comply with IP2XC in accordance with IEC 60529.
IP2XC confirms protection against hazardous parts with a diameter of 12 mm and a length of 80 mm as well as protection against a tool with diameter of 2.5 mm and a length of 100 mm.
In combination with a transparent door, ADI/ADIS inner doors can be used for mounting control and measuring equipment and for housing push buttons, lights and switches. This allows easy access to these components while at the same time protecting operators from hazardous internal equipment.
ADI/ADIS inner doors increase safety by protecting against access to hazardous internal equipment when the front door of the enclosure is opened to operate control and other equipment installed on the inner door.
