An innovative ‘incubator’, with a mission to create award winning product stars has been launched in Sheffield.

Queen’s Award winning manufacturers, Gripple and Loadhog, have come together to create Incub to help realise the dreams of budding entrepreneurs by fast tracking their product concepts to market.

Incub is looking for imaginative inventors in any sector, who may lack the required skills, equipment or funding to turn their product ideas into commercial realities.

Inventors could be graduates, who have nurtured ideas while at university; product designers who have spotted an opportunity; or mature individuals looking for a new challenge. During the product development phase, the ‘cubs’ will be employed and have access to the companies’ vast expertise.

Once a product is ready to launch, they will be encouraged to grow their ideas into worldwide businesses, creating valuable jobs .
