IS capabilities expanded
Gill Research & Development (Gill R&D), part of the Gill Group of product engineering companies, provides full end-to-end design to certified manufacturing of intrinsically safe (IS) products.
Gill has over 20 years’ experience of developing products to recognised IS certification and approvals, including IECEx and ATEX, for use in Hazardous areas. Successful in designing and developing IS products such as ultrasonic anemometers and capacitive liquid level sensors for the Gill Group and external customers, Gill R&D are expanding their IS engineering specialism to OEM’s, mining, oil & gas, chemical and process industries.
Gill R&D provide support from concept design through to accreditation and manufacture from partnered approval bodies. Through long-standing relationships with approval bodies, Gill has developed an in-depth understanding of the certified approvals to aid the design and development of products. As part of the development process Gill can produce product designs to suit appropriate zones, protection types and gas class.
