Latest register of legislation

An up-to-date Register of Legislation
is useful for those construction
companies wishing to comply with
BS EN ISO 18001. The latest update
to the Construction Health and
Safety Manual from Construction
Industry Publications (CIP) now
includes a register of legislation
listing all relevant H&S legislation,
and its equivalent in Scotland, Wales
and Northern Ireland, as well as
including details of the HSE’s
relevant ACoP (Approved Code of
Practice). The register is updated
every six months in line with the
Government legislation calendar.

CIP have compiled an exhaustive
list of health and safety related
legislation that applies to all UK
businesses. It is available as a printed
list, a pdf document and also as a fully
linked document via the online
service. The online register links to the
UK Government legislation website as
well as the relevant HSE ACoP for
companies to use if they need further
information and guidance.
