Light control

Posted on Friday 1 January 2010

Integral LED’s new ‘Metropol LED’ down lights, have been designed to reduce installation time for electricians and maintenance professionals.

The 32 models incorporate Sharp brand chip-on-board LED technology, said to deliver consistent light levels whilst avoiding shadows. To combat glare, the positioning of the recessed LED, with an optically designed reflector results in a UGR rating of 10 or below.
The range incorporates features such as its ‘push and lock’ connector design. Space between the cut-out and the trim, has been engineered to allow for ceiling variations and provides a margin for error during installation.

The spring clips are protected with durable covers and the bevels are designed to withstand knocks. All the designs incorporate a clear diffuser to protect the LED and the range is supplied in three cut-out sizes, finished in either powder paint white or brushed aluminium. Dimmable and non-dimmable models are available.
