Manufacturing award finalist

Posted on Friday 1 January 2010

Loadhog – the Sheffield-based, 100% employee-owned transit packaging innovator – is a finalist in the People Effectiveness category of the IMechE 2014 Manufacturing Excellence (MX) Awards, the business improvement programme which supports and promotes all manufacturers in the UK.

Loadhog has been visited by the programme’s assessors who toured the plant and learned about the company’s agenda and values focused on maximising people effectiveness.

Ed Stubbs, Loadhog’s managing director, said: “This achievement is of particular significance for the company as developing our people is fundamental to building a lasting employee-owned business which adds value and makes a difference.”

The six finalists will now present their cases in London to a panel of senior engineers, industry specialists and leading academics. The presentation to the winners in each category will take place on September 30th.
