Minimal operator exertion

Posted on Friday 1 January 2010

Indeva’s Liftronic industrial manipulator is designed to offer businesses a material handling solution that can substantially reduce the number of musculoskeletal disorders and work-related injuries, by improving workplace ergonomics and health and safety.

The manipulator benefits from an automatic balancing feature which senses the load and adjusts the balance accordingly, with minimal operator exertion needed.

This allows the operator to move the load, no matter what its size, with just the touch of a finger – eliminating all strains during lifting. The Liftronic’s float mode function ensures precision loading and improved manoeuvrability. The system’s in-built safety features also mean that, in the event of a power cut or loss of air pressure, the load will remain firmly held by the gripping tools.

The Liftronic manipulator is suitable for use within manufacturing and distribution environments that require speed, fluid movement and exact positioning of loads up to 300kg.
