Narrow escape

Global supplier to the camping,
caravanning and leisure industry,
Thetford, has replaced
counterbalance and reach trucks
with three Aisle-Master articulated
forklifts at its new 73,000ft2
manufacturing and warehousing
facility in Rotherham. Aisle-widths
are now much narrower than
previously possible, resulting in 842
available pallet spaces.

The electric powered 2t capacity
AM20 SHE models offload
components and place them near
production lines, take finished goods
to the racking and high level bulk
store, pick to order and load delivery
trucks. Aisle-Masters have capacities
of up to 2.5t and lift heights of up to
12.5m, with a choice of AC electric
or LPG power.
