New addition to glove range

Posted on Friday 1 January 2010

Tornado Gloves’ Electroflex Pro is made using ultra-high molecular weight  polyethylene to protect hard-working hands.

It is odourless, tasteless, non-toxic, resistant to most organic solvents and corrosive chemicals. It doesn’t readily absorb moisture and Tornado says its abrasion resistance exceeds that of carbon steel.

The glove features extra reinforcement between thumb and forefinger. As well as protecting against cuts and abrasion, it takes care of the wearer in three other ways:

  • CPU technology: Chemicals in manufacturing may cause irritation. Tornado’s hi-tech washing system reduces chemicals so the glove comfortable to wear.
  • Anti-bacterial technology: The glove transmits a skin-friendly conditioner onto the hand that kills germs and lasts the entire life-cycle the glove
  • HDPu technology: A special dip formulation forms a strong, flexible coating, adding durability and extending the life of the glove. This reduces both order frequency and cost.
