Material handling and automated pallet storage systems require robust and reliable distance and location measurements for an efficient system. The FLS Dimetix laser sensor measures over long distances with a high degree of accuracy and reliability.
With a measuring range up to 500m and repeatability of ±0.15mm (1sigma) the FLS-C-10 is a proven choice for position sensing in a variety of industrial applications requiring monitoring of position, level, or size.
Properly integrated, they are also rugged enough to withstand extreme environments from -40ºC to +50ºC and are often used in steel/glass production facilities.
There are also a wide range of output options such as 4~20mA, RS232C and SSI as standard which are all programable for process control. There are even three digital outputs, two of which can be used as relay or error alarms.
