Prescription eyeshields

ASE Corporate Eyecare is launching
a new range of protective eyeshields
with prescription inserts in response
to demands from the health and
safety industry.

The premium polycarbonate
Equinox eye shield is manufactured
to BSEN 166IF. The lens curvature
has been calculated to optimise
vision when combined with the
prescription insert. The brow guard
in soft foam is said to improve
impact absorption and comfort
without the need for side shields
whilst the prescription insert can be
clicked in and out of the frame.

Product entitlement, access and
distribution via ASE’s intranet based
EyecarePortal is used in a similar
way to employees accessing a VDU
EyecarePlan.

The system is managed via a
service which is said to be virtually
administration free and includes
comprehensive management
reporting.
