Quality & environmental standards

Posted on Friday 1 January 2010

Training and consultancy company OMS, whose clients include BT and drinks giant Molson Coors, has achieved two international standards for its quality management system and for reducing its environmental impact.

The Bardon Hill-based company’s quality management processes have been certified by BSI to the international standard ISO 9001: 2008 and the environmental management mark ISO 14001: 2004.

Director Clive Ormerod said: “Our work includes practical training in health and safety contexts such as working at height so it is critical to have effective systems in place to deliver training effectively, safely and consistently well. We also provide consultancy for clients to develop systems to ensure that they comply with international standards, so it is important that we are able to do so for ourselves.”
