Risk Assessment isn’t difficult, so why does it seem like it is? Big Printing believes the problem is filling in the form.
To makes the process very simple, it has developed Risk Assessor, a free App to download from App Store or Google Play, with optional upgrades to allow things like email, editing and multiple companies. The basic package is said to provide everything needed to meet the legal requirement of carrying out risk assessments in the workplace.
A few example hazards are pre-loaded. Others will need to be added by the user, with a large selection of safety icons. Simply drag and drop the hazards over the photo and select or type the most suitable control. Choose your likelihood and seriousness of the hazard, and within a few clicks the assessment is complete. Your report will be personalised with company details and logo. You can even specify a follow-up date and the device will flag up a reminder for you.
