Running for charity

REID Lifting’s managing director,
Nick Battersby, is taking on one of the
worlds toughest running challenges to
raise funds for Water Aid.

Nick, a keen runner and
member of Chepstow Harriers, has
run in many locations around the
world, but nothing as extreme as
The Marathon Des Sables, a
151mile run across the Sahara
Desert.

Nick said, “As a key supplier to
the international water industry, we
are very aware of the challenges
facing many people around the
world and this is a small
opportunity to help raise funds.”
