Safety harnesses selection

RS Components (RS), the trading brand of Electrocomponents, the global distributor for engineers, has added advanced new safety harnesses from industry leader JSP to its personal protection equipment portfolio, including the latest models offering enhanced positional control and superior protection against electrical hazards.

The JSP Pioneer 3-point harness is designed for users that need accurate positioning and control when working at height, such as telecom or electrical equipment installers. The Pioneer harness is lightweight, fully adjustable, and features a padded back support and positioning belt for optimum safety and comfort.

RS is also stocking the JSP Pro-Fit Dielectrik, which is said to be the only harness in Europe made from electrically insulating polymers. This harness also features special dielectric D-rings, buckles and frames that provide impressive protection for workers operating in electrical atmospheres.

The enhanced selection also includes the full range of JSP K2 and Spartan harnesses, in addition to other Pioneer and Pro-Fit 1-point and 2-point models such as the Pioneer 2-Point Rescue and Pro-Fit 2-Point QR quick-release harness. All harnesses meet the latest applicable EN safety standards.
