For nearly 25 years The Safety Knife Company has helped employers reduce accidents across all industries.
With a range including enclosed blade safety knives, knives with manual and automatic blade retraction, slice ceramic blade cutters and metal detectable knives for food factories, the company has something to suit almost all applications. The latest addition is the ReAkta Scalpel.
General manager David Harris said: "We have been approached by many companies over the years whose processes require the use of scalpel or craft blades. We believe that the ReAtka Scalpel is the first ‘auto-retractable’ knife designed to hold such blades. Recognising that blade changing can often be the most hazardous part of the process, this new tool has been developed to make this easier to control."
The ReAtka Scalpel will be demonstrated at Health & Safety North. Free samples will be available after the show.
