Safety management tool
PAL Software has worked with different industries, safety organisations (including the HSE) and end users to develop a practical, uncomplicated health and safety management aid.
Developed over three years, ‘Your Safety PAL’ allows 24-hour easy cloud-based access for all to plan, act and learn. The user can place specific details into each work zone ensuring the planning process is smooth and time at work is expedited.
The application is based on relevant health and safety and CDM requirements, but removes unnecessary paper documentation by using electronic alternatives. This reduces the need for on-site based health and safety inductions/training with pre online options. It also enables a proactive, problem identification approach in relation to onsite work as opposed to a reactive approach once the site work has begun.
PAL Software also identified a genuine desire to share information in relation to health and safety issues, particularly if it protects employees from hazardous situations. To accommodate this, the application enables users to post and receive Safety Alerts. ‘Your Safety PAL’ also ensures that all contractors have relevant insurances in place before starting work.
