A recent article assets that nearly one
in five construction sites fail safety
checks, underlining the need for
training in the construction industry.

Scaffolding inspection is one area that
construction companies need to take
seriously, with an estimated 65% of
the construction industry regularly
using it to assist in the construction
and maintenance of buildings.

The Construction Health & Safety
Group (CHSG) has created its new
CISRS accredited two-day course for
scaffold inspectors, management,
supervisors and safety professionals
who are required to inspect
scaffolding to ensure safety, and who
are responsible for completing reports
under the Work at Height Regulations
2005.
