Setting the standard
Both James Walker UK and James Walker & Co are now accredited to standards ISO 9001 quality management, AS/EN 9001 aviation, space & defence, ISO 14001 environmental management, and OHSAS 18001 occupational health & safety.
In just 18 months since its creation, James Walker UK has moved to new offices in Crewe — and gained its four internationally recognised accreditations.
“Achieving the three additional accreditations, as well as ISO 9001 Quality Management, will undoubtedly help James Walker UK to integrate quality, environmental, and health and safety management systems throughout our operations,” managing director Ron Smith said.
James Walker & Co is the Group’s first manufacturing company to gain all four. It has held ISO 9001 since the standard was first introduced.
