manufacturer Showers
& Eyebaths Services has
completed a contract to
supply 16 cubicle safety
showers with internal
eyebaths and spring
loaded doors for a new
Nickel plant being built
on the South Pacific
Island of New
Caledonia.
The order amounting
to nearly £59,000 has
come from AXIAL, a
supplier of industrial equipment
based in locally Nouméa, who has
been responsible for sourcing plant
equipment on behalf of the
Malaysian based plant engineers,
Hatch Technip.
AXIAL manager
Patrick Jones said: “The
level of requirement of
Hatch Technip is very
high, therefore we rely
on the quality and
expertise of our
suppliers. The
emergency shower
units will be necessary
for the delivery of
health and safety
requirements for the
Nickel plant which is
scheduled to be
operational in 2012.
