ISSA has announced that it is to
partner with the Health & Safety
Midlands event in its new Cleaning
and Hygiene Zone. As part of the
agreement, ISSA will lead the zone’s
educational programme that runs
across both days. A new addition to
the regional event series, Health and
Safety Midlands takes place on the
12th and 13th September at the
National Motorcycle Museum in
Birmingham.
“We have a phrase ‘cleaning for
health’ which I think encapsulates
why getting involved in Health and
Safety Midlands is so worthwhile,”
comments Keith Baker, ISSA
director of EMEA Services. “We
believe it’s fundamentally important
that the benefits of good cleaning
practice are communicated to a
wider audience. When you consider
the business benefits that excellent
cleaning practice delivers, such as
reducing absenteeism, then the
synergy between cleaning and health
and safety becomes readily
apparent.”
