Spreading HAV awareness

Posted on Friday 1 January 2010

For managing the health of the workforce in industries ranging from construction, foundries and aviation, HAVi says is committed to simple and effective services.

HAVi emphasises the use of applied methods to spread awareness of hand arm vibration (HAV). HAVi’s training professionals inform everyone from the workforce to the managers on the safety processes involved.

Previously, health and safety managers have relied heavily upon static data collection to inform and prevent harmful vibration exposure. However, HAVi provides training to educate workforces on issues relating to HAV, rather than focusing purely on static data collation.

HAVi as a company is focused on risk assessment and management through sampling accurate data to provide excellent, tailor-made industry specific solutions. Thanks to this way of thinking, businesses and their workforces benefit through enhanced efficiency and a healthier workforce.

The HSE has set out clear guidelines for managing vibration, and HAVi continues to help companies to comply with these regulations. HAVi services, such as online management software HAVi TOTAL and HAVi training programmes are continually developed to remain at the forefront of HAV management.

HAVi has just experienced its most successful last quarter in the company’s history. This success is a direct result of HAVi’s awareness of the control of vibration at work regulations 2005, and its ability to transfer this knowledge to its products and services, ensuring outstanding service is delivered to all its clients.
